CHOCOLATE BROWNIE CAKE
I think any cake mix would work - especially if wanting it not so rich. This was so easy!
Update: Abagail wants this for her birthday. This is a cake she can make all by herself!
1 box chocolate cake mix (put through a sifter)
1 box brownie mix (put through a sifter)
4 eggs
1 1/4 cup water
1 cup oil
Mix everything for 2 minutes with a wire whisk. Put in a sprayed bundt pan at 350 for 50-55 minutes.
Top with ganache. I did 1/2 a batch (1/2 cup heavy whip, 1 cup chocolate chips) and didn't add it all. Would be good to add some peppermint to the ganache. I topped with some heath bits we had left over. Yum!

BAKED OATMEAL
BAKED OATMEAL
My family liked this more than the one in McCleve cookbook. Jenna likes it with peanut butter and banana on top (me too -yum!) This recipe came from Jessica Walker.

Combine all ingredients and put in a 8x8 pan. Bake for 35-45 min or until golden and middle is firm. Serve with milk or cream.

1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tsp cinammon

1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

BRUSSEL SPROUTS
My family loves brussel sprouts any way I make them. The petite ones from Schwan's are really good. On the fresh ones Judi told me that if you do a fresh cut and make an X on the bottom then cook better.
Can make same way as Fried Cabbage (with onion and bacon). This is how the Schwan's Man told me he likes it. My family really liked it.
We were also at Justin & Jenn's and Jenn cut up the brussel sprouts and fried with onion then added lemon and sugar. It was really good!
